Armatherm is one of the leading suppliers of thermal break materials for the construction industry. Our goal is to provide architects, engineers, and contractors with the knowledge and materials to effectively address thermal bridging.

Thermal bridging has been recognized as a significant factor in building envelope energy loss. Armatherm thermal break materials have low thermal conductivity, high strength, and have been designed and tested to carry the loads, and prevent thermal bridging.

  • 150 times less conductive than steel
  • Load Bearing: Max load pressure up to 43,000 PSI
  • Typically used in moment connections
  • Multiple thicknesses available to help achieve specified insulation values
  • Precut and drilled

Armatherm 500

  • A range of grades are available to help achieve specified insulation values
  • Thermal conductivities ranging between 0.26 BTU to 0.53 BTU* (* other grades available upon request)
  • Material can be cut and drilled on site
  • Typical locations include Column Bases, Foundation to Wall Transitions, Concrete Balcony Isolators, Roof Penetrations
  • Precut and drilled

Armatherm Z-Girt

  • Non-metallic Z-Girt
  • Can increase the wall assembly efficiency by up to 98%
  • NFPA 285 Approved
  • Wide range of depths available
  • Similar installation method to that of metallic Z-Girts
  • Increases contentious insulation (CI) values
